Marek joined J. Wood Capital Advisors in July 2025 and will focus on the firm's expanding ability to support companies throughout their lifecycle with thoughtful, independent guidance.

Marek has nearly 20 years of technology investment banking experience advising private and public technology companies, as well as their boards and investors, on over $117 billion in strategic and financing transactions.

Most recently, Marek was a Managing Director and the Head of U.S. Software Investment Banking in the Global Technology Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan, where he worked with innovative entrepreneurs, emerging leaders and some of the world’s largest technology companies.

Marek graduated from Harvard College with an A.B. degree in Economics.
